Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr S. Tanner

A course of design, modelling and technological practice involving materials. Students will be given the opportunity for increased independence in consultation with their teachers in working towards the development of a product design outcome.


Recommended Prior Learning

Students who are not current students in L2DT or L2DVC or L2SMET but who wish to enter this 13DT course next year need to apply to the HOD Technology who will consider individual requests on a case by case basis in consultation with the TIC's for 13DT. There is no open entry for L2SCON students. Students will be encouraged to aim for course endorsement in this subject which will require them to consider undertaking an external Technology achievement standard.
